Volunteers will complete the Youth Leader Card (Juleica) and basic first aid training within the first two weeks of voluntary service (last two weeks of summer holidays).
Thus, the volunteers will start their voluntary service in sports at school with a qualification in the fields of Juleica and first aid.
This is followed by a basic and advanced training course in the autumn holidays. The recognition of the ÜL-C special block course is based on the previously completed Juleica training, so that all participants (TN) have successfully completed the Juleica and ÜL-C mass sports licence within the first half of their voluntary service period.
In the second half of their voluntary service, the final seminar and, if necessary, the seminar on political education (BFD seminar) will follow between May and July, so that the entire 25 or 30 seminar days are planned, organized and financed by ASC Göttingen von 1846 e.V. The final seminar and, if applicable, the BFD-Seminar do not play a role in relation to the acquisition of qualifications/licenses.
The course contents will be among others the following:
Juleica:
The focus will be on the leadership of children and youth groups as well as the planning of offers which are oriented towards the interests of children and youth and which go beyond the "normal" practice and training, such as projects, special activities with the training group and holiday camps. Opportunities for participation and the representation of the interests of children and young people in the club or association are discussed and, of course, there is also a selection of very practical "tools" in the form of games and other practical examples of sport.
ÜL-C popular sport - across all sports:
The training as a training supervisor for mass sports qualifies for the planning, organisation and implementation of sports and exercise lessons with children and young people in sports clubs. It gives suggestions for a child- and youth-oriented sport and movement practice. The participants develop pedagogical, didactic-methodical and organisational skills, social competence in dealing with children and young people.
